Nigerian Army Ambushed some of the BH Terrorists at a Cattle Market

Troops of the 212 Tank Battalion of the Nigerian Army, 29 Task Force Brigade ambushed some Book Harm terrorists at Gwai Mainari cattle market around Mainok area in Borneo State on Wednesday, February 10th 2016 in the early hours of the morning. Statement issued by Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel UK Sank as of yesterday, February 10th read:

 

"In continuation of their clearance operations of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East, troops of 212 Tank Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade, early this morning laid an ambush on some Boko Haram elements at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari around Mainok general area."

A Quick Response Group (QRG), which supported the ambush party captured a Hilux motor vehicle containing 8 jerry cans of petroleum product, oil and lubricants, large quantity of 7.62mm ammunitions, 127mm ammunitions and 4 AK-47 rifles, as well as 5 hand grenades.

Some of the terrorists who managed to escape were injured by the bullet while some of them were killed by the Nigerian army.

More tactical and operational strategies are being put in place to further flush out the remnants of BH terrorists where ever they might be remaining in Nigeria. Your cooperation is appreciated
