A Nigerian Airforce aircraft has been reported to have skidded off the runway at the Air Force Base in Yola, Adamawa state capital while landing earlier today.

It was also reported by an Aviation sector source that no casualty of any form was recorded in the incident except that one of the aircraft tyres was lost.
This is occurring five months after a Nigerian Airforce Aircraft, NAF801 crashed somewhere in Adamawa state and also one that crashed about 10mins after takeoff in Kaduna.
The Director, Defence Information, Colonel Abubakar Rabe, confirmed this to Channels Television.
One of the airforce plane crash incident of last year was said to be returning from an interdicted mission when it went down due to bad weather. Only the pilot is said to have died in the accident.
While the other took off going to Abuja from Kaduna with about four crew member and four passengers but had engine failure and crashed into NDA of which it lost everyone on board.
