One deputy dead, two hospitalized in Colorado shooting Yesterday

Cpl. Nate Carrigan was shot and died yesterday, at the scene where a man who two years ago lost ownership ofhis home and sued to stop his foreclosure opened fire on three members of the Park County Sheriff's Office in Colorado, killing one and injuring two, as the officers tried to serve him an eviction notice, authorities said.


The shooter, identified as Martin Wirth, who is also dead, was said by officials to have been seen outside his deck before going back inside, officers followed him in as they enter and the next thing was open gun fire (shooting) as Wirth opened fire first and the officers returned fire.
