This Nigerian government plan was made known on Friday by the Interior Minister, General Abdulrahman Danbazzau at a Nigerian Police Force Ceremonial parade in Abuja
General Danbazzau said that the Federal Government was also going to support the deployment of Police Personnel towards the stabilization of safety/ security and the restoration of civil authority in the northeastern Nigeria.
Speaking also at the occasion that mark the grand finale of the 2016 Police week, Mr Solomon Arase, the Inspector General of Police reassured the dedication of the Nigerian Police towards providing effective and significant security for the country through what he called "community policing efforts".
