Stay Back At Home And Repair Nigeria, Fayose Tells Buhari

Mr President's journey to the United States is not important, it is needless -  Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose.

In a statement, Mr Fayose said that the President, Buhari should concentrate more on dealing with the present economic challenges in the country.

"It seems to be a mystery that President Buhari met power generation at 6,000MW but as of today, it has dropped to 2,695MW".

The Governor feels and request that what should be of great interest to Mr President should be the suffering on so many Nigerians rather than what he called, "junketing around the world".

"This is not acceptable. President Buhari should stop going round the world and stay back at home and see to it that at least, electricity power generation returns to 6,000MW that he met if he cannot add more to it.  He should stay back at home and settle the issue of fuel scarcity that has paralyzed almost all activities in the country to an end" 

“Nigerians are saying their president should stay at home and bring to an end the killings, raping of women and destruction of farmlands by Fulani herdsmen.  Most importantly, the President should pay listening ears to those of us who criticize him instead of those applauding every of his wrong steps either because of what they intend or want to gain or for fear of persecution,” the Governor said.
